this device could also be interesting with PA, especially in combination with the leap.

I'll stick with the tried and tested method personally.

Lacks the precision needed to select units and targets. Just like the Leap and the Kinect.

I can't even imagine standing like that in front of a screen. That's a grown man, for god's sake.

I bet if you listen closely, you can hear him making pew-pew sounds.

I'm moving this to unrelated. It's a bit too offtopic. Cool stuff thought. :)

I like the idea of using this in order to make things easier to do, but gaming with it looks really lame, using my finger as a gun is a level of immersion that I quite frankly do not want, would just make me feel and look like an idiot. I'd have to lock my door and draw the curtains every time I wanted to play a game

Using your hand to simulate a gun just.. no, can't do it.

Now that would really interest me, really sweet stuff, I love how technology advancing.
As for simulating a gun, why you people are so shy about it? It's not like you are being asked to air hump along with it, don't get stuck on details.

You could just hold a replica gun. I think it adds a lot to the immersion.

There surely can't be anyone left who worries about looking silly playing video games. Especially alone at home at your desktop. What is this, the 90's? This is the post Guitar Hero world, man. Nobody cares, everything goes.

My only issue would be it doing things when I don't want it to. Motion tracking and whatnot you can get out of view, you're wearing this.

And I don't see anything wrong with using a hand to look like a gun. I personally use both my pointer finger and my middle finger to make my hand look like a bigger gun.

I don't want to look like a crazy person lost in his fantasy world while I'm gaming, I want to look like a massive nerd stuck behind a monitor damnit!
