So I'm on Youtube right now listening to today's stream, and the bit about seeing what's going on in other places, the bit about not liking minimaps, and I had an idea. One of the cool features of this game is the new Chronocam, right? Well, how about this:

Make it possible to set up side windows of the Chronocam that stay on the screen. Make it possible to have those be current time, and fixed on another base or place of interest that you want to watch. It can go even further than that, though; you could make it possible to interact through that window. Say you set it over your main base while you're off overseeing a fight. You could click through the side cam window and have your bases produce more troops. You could select a base, mouse over to the main window, and set a deployment location where the fight's at.

You could even allow multiple sidecams, allowing players to keep track of multiple bases, or their teammates' bases, or whatever they want to maintain tabs on. I'm not saying this should totally replace the minimap, it should be possible to choose your assets. But this is something I would loooooooove to see in the game, and I'm interested to see what the rest of you (developers/other players) think.

That's already part of the plan and doesn't even require the ChronoCam for that, being able to open multiple viewports/windows has always been a goal.
