Alright I and at least a few other people have had problems and I realize you've probably already heard about this problem in the past week or so, basically the game is now rendered un-playable for anyone with Intel HD 2000 - 3000, I'd also like to tell a few people that would think it is the cards fault is that this game used to run on these cards and surprisingly well, I could get 30fps at the beginning of the game it rarely dropped below 10fps late game, anyway, with Intel HD 4000 you just had to update your drivers, this however doesn't help anyone with Intel HD 2000 - 3000 and I was very excited last update as I had really hoped it had been fixed, the update log was disappointing to say the least, I hope you guys at UBER are addressing this problem, I'm sure you are, but I'd really like it soon, I realize it's my fault for buying an Alpha game on pretty low specs but the game was just to amazing looking, heh, anyway I really hope SOMEONE at UBER can get this fixed up soon. >.<
They are working on this problem: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/pa-alpha-build-52973.51145/page-2#post-782519 You can also track it here: http://pa.lennardf1989.com/Tracker/index.php?do=details&task_id=1993 I'll immediately update this issue when it's fixed because I'm have laptop with HD 3000.
I just did a driveby status check on some of the bugs have already been fixed. There is still a few more to go though (apparently we really broke it hard). Intel is supplying us some machines and we have a good pipeline into their driver team now (Steve who is working on this used to work at Intel).
Will there be any optimization for AMD CPU`s? Ive been experiencing poor frames, I know I should just get myself an i7... but my 8350 is pretty much new. I know peeps are talking about integrated graphics, but just thought id ask anyway. Cheers.
I thought it was the on-board graphics thats embedded into the i5`s and HD 3000 in i7`s. My bad. Dxdiag is attached.
That's one rock-solid build. wait for optimizations, don't mess around with beta drivers, get the latest stable driver for your GC, try running the game on a fresh pc boot, with the least extras. i think turning the screen to 60Hz is a start. 120Hz may not be supported for PA yet.
Thanks so much! I'll finally be able to play again, only way I could was to bust out my HD 4000 touch computer.. but I'd get more lag on it, and it's smaller screeeen yada yada, anyway, really happy you guys figured out what was wrong and got it fixed! PS: Tell me when it's in, if you have the time of course
Are you sure you use latest drivers for HD 4000? I'm actually got much better performance on it, than on HD3000... Tested it on friend laptop few days ago.
Yes I have the latest drivers, but you see, my computer with HD 3000 has a better processor than the HD 4000, the processor for the HD 3000 is much better infact, you see when it feels under pressure it overclocks and so I get a huge fps boost.
