OK, I've read LOADS of "fix this" or "this is a cheap tactic" threads and I want to preface this post by saying I love the game, and if they dont change anything i'm still going to play.

However, to help appease some people I've thrown out potential ideas here and there that I've used to gauge a reaction from. So here goes:

Instead of spending $100 to spawn bots mid-game, or even at the start of the game, why not attach it to a "kill-streak" type system? For instance, tie it to the passive skill in each class. At rank 1 a 7-kill streak will spawn a bot for you. At rank 2 a 5-kill streak spawns a bot, and at rank 3 a 3-kill streak does the same.

Is this TOO drastic? I've seen people going 30-10-1 and such, and in those instances it might be overpowered.

I see the angle your coming from, and its definatly a constructive comment. I just think that tying bot spawns into kill streaks is gonna be detrimental to the objective nature of the gameplay. It pulls the focus away from working as a team and rewards rambo style run and gun warfare. Which the game is allready overun with as it is!

All we need is a team deathmatch mode, to seperate the 2 styles of gamers!

Yeah, thats a good point. I would be for this system in a TDM type match, but in objective matches it would only promote a kill-style attitude, which only degrades this type of gameplay.

I know what you are saying, sometimes when i play support, I mash the spawn bots button and let the gapshots go. I can honestly say, it's a cheap tactic.

Please no. One of the reasons MNC has became my shooter of choice recently is because of the lack of killstreak rewards. I absolutely hate killstreak rewards, I think they just encourage camping, and more importantly, not playing to win the objective.

It would make the Sniper and Support classes far and away the best classes in the game, and would make Supports completely ridiculous.

It's just way too easy to get a 3 kill streak with some classes in comparison to others.

Edit - It actually wouldn't make the snipers any better since Scramblers are awful. But it would make put Supports in their own tier of class ranking :\

This, all rewards will do is make the campers camp even more and enable more of this behavior while people will forget about the objective. Already to many people worried about K/D ( why? I have no idea ) we dont need another reason to make more people like that.

There would be no disadvantage or trade off with that idea. Normally you have to leave the front line, have yourself exposed as you spawn the bots, and it costs money. If it's just used by someone going on a big streak or by a spawn camper it'll just derail the balance. They don't have to do anything, they don't even have to leave their spot.

I also think that rewarding kill streaks is a bit of a no-no, I like the fact that players who aren't strong vs other players can get some bot kills, save up and contribute instead by spawning extra bots.

What I WOULD like to see sometime in the future is maybe a balancing of the player-spawned bots. So far the only ones that make a real difference are the bouncers and gap-shots. This is great for me a I play support and gunner but I feel that it's a little unbalanced that I can spawn a big burly pain-in-my-opponents-*** or a base-destroying bot, while other classes spawn little flying things that never seem to do much damage, gremlins that are killed easily or the completely useless skill-sucking bots.

Even a price change would be alright, $100 for the normal bots and 150-200 for gapshots and bouncers? I dunno.

Why is it that everyone tries to make games like cod? This isn't cod. nor it never will be.
You don't need kill streaks to make a game. Next people will be saying "They
should die in 3 shots cause it will make it better."

I thought about kill streaks, and found out that it would never work. Its a team based game, with kill streaks, people won't do the "Team" part of it. They will camp to get their kill streaks.

TDM wouldn't work either, they would have to make a whole different map and gameplay style. Unless they can find a way for the bots to do something in a TDM style gametype. I can't see them putting it in.

With the bots, I think that they should to the same thing as when you purchase turrets.
You go to spawn a bot. A wheel comes up with 4 or so different bots. You purchase them with however much money they would cost.
    $100 for _____
    $150 for _____
    $200 for _____
    etc..

I come from shooters where your killstreak reward is just the announcer yelling at me when I reach certain milestones. Lol

I don't think that would really work out. The bot spawn points are usually right out in the open making it easy for a sniper to just pick you off across map while I decide which bot to spawn. Although I do agree an TDM/DM style of gametype will just ruin this game.

Although i agree, you would get use to it like the turrets, knowing the selection, it would only take 1 second to buy one.
