apparently since the recent update i have been getting huge ping increases for no reason, it will say around 100-200 but i will join and be at 70 its annoying as they used to all be under 100 and whenever a match ends i some how lose connection, is anyone else experiencing this problem?

i don't own a thompson or the routers that are listed for the DCing problems.

I've noticed the server browser reporting pings of 70 or so, but when I connect, the ping is sometimes 400+. Doesn't happen on all servers, and not even consistently on the same ones. When it does, it stays high until I reconnect. Also don't own one of the known-to-be-problematic routers.

mine will show around 150-200 in the browser but when i join drop to around 70, which i am happy with but it makes picking servers a lot harder...

Try playing only on the official servers for a few days and see if there's any change.

It's probably just bad luck with unreliable private hosts.

I've lost connection once at match end, and it was on Tully's Funhouse. Probably a coincidence, but who knows.

Losing connection on the rounds end is caused by the server crashing, my servers are plagued with this issue. This bug was introduced in the latest patch, uberent is aware of the issue.
