Here's another of my bright ideas

I just remmembered very old game m.a.x. (Mechanized Assault and Exploration) and it was kinda an ancestor of TA. It had one interesting element: Infiltrators - small, invisivle, low HP/Damage units that could disable/steal enemy units and (only disable) structures. The were pretty powerful because theywere one of 3 ways to break a turtling opponent (the other 2 tactos were swarm them or outtech them). I believe they could be usefull in this game, specially on smaller 1 planet maps where oyu can't just go an ram something into an enemy planet/base. Infiltrators did have weaknesses: The chance to disable/capure a unit or structure got smaller the more arvanced the unit was and if the failed they could be seen for next turn and were 99% of time killed by reaction fire, they could never capture structures and were able to be seen by infantry (which was the lowest tier unit available and you wouzld only build the to counter infiltrators). In PA thes position could easily be filled by T1 light bot/scout plane/ground scout. Also in PA the list fo things an infiltrator can do could be extended to: Hacking into enemy radar system giving you LOS on a planet/empire, hacking intor resource system allowing you toto see nemy income or even divert certain % of it to you (You can either try to shut down enemy economy or try to leech form it and hope to go undetected fo as long as possible). Another thing they could do is disrupt command and controll (I think disabling unit controll would be too op, but maybe disabling alerts would be cool) or reprograming enemy fadctoris to stop construction or construct a wrong unit, etc.

    What do you think?

P.S. Thes was done in library, where word checking non-functional so sry for any typos.

You could also try the idea of damaging the enemy radar and making them think its still working and its not. But i think that the leach resources idea shouldn't go unless of course the bots had more trouble each time they attempted it again do to self correcting algorithms or something. The idea is also kinda micro in the fact of reprogramming enemy factories and all that.
