something i would like to see in a future update, because polish comes mostly last/later and that is ok in my book, would be better projectiles in general .. the current ones we have are both lacking in making battles more impactfull (possibly without making it totaly busy ... because that´s quite a challange in a game with this scale) the other problem is that some of them are fairly difficult to read on certain terraintypes f.e. dox, grenadier and bolo gunshots on a snow/iceplanet same goes with laserturretbeams ... smoketrails or particletrails and more saturated or mixed effect/beamcolors may help with better readabilty additionaly projectilehits could be better visualy such as beams creating a heating glow with sparks on areas they hit, gunshots hurling some scrap/dust up and sparks or small explosions for the grenadiers mortars f.e. ... and yes projektilehits and explosions hurling water up in naval battles ... these are just some examples ...
and? this is a dedicated thread to a particular topic namely weapon and battleeffects while the other was more about how people consider the state of the game by the time it was opened ... i likely will open the same tread but a few months later ... like end of april or mai ...
Better overall visual effects and lighting is something I have been asking for a while now. The new Anchor laser effect is a step in the right direction. I think I read somewhere that this is something they have said they are actively working on. Fingers crossed.
As I've said before I'm really not interested in a non-teamcolored awesome projectiles, but if someone else wants to modify it that's perfectly all right with me.
