If you're going to make a video making fun of someone, don't be like that guy. Seriously, your equipment is offensive to all senses, and I'm fairly sure my ears are now bleeding.
How exactly is my equipment "offensive"? Using the tank rifle shooting fools across the map takes a hell of a lot more skill than sitting in a corner using cloak.
Quick question: How does it offend your senses of taste, smell, and touch? I don't doubt that it does after watching what looks like cellphone footage, but I just have to know.
As a true epicurean of life I experience things with all senses, plus I licked and caressed my laptop screen.
This happend to me too... WHY DO YOU TRY TO GO AGAINST A TANK? 2 assassins just like that guy had, tried to gang bang me.... took them both our with a jet charge.... If i ever see a tank as an assassin, i back off unless they are almost dead.

Meh, tanks are an interesting challenge as the assassin. However, they really aren't that difficult, unless they run away from you. An Assassin can easily outrange a tank, that's what most players don't understand. The Shuriken gun will decimate any tank, regardless of health. My usual strategy would be something along the lines of: Lunge -> Slash, slash -> Smoke Jump -> Shuriken As long as you're fairly accurate (and it's difficult NOT to be accurate, with such a large target) they go down fairly quickly. Of course, most scrubby assassins like the ones in that video just rush in for the grab, cause that's all they know how to do.
The few hours i have played MNC on a friend's Xbox i understood that playing as Assassin is basicly the same as playing as Spy in TF2. If you just use Grapple and flailing your sword all over the place you are going to be bound to be semi effective. Its much easier and more effective to finish off a opponent at distance with the Shuriken launcher if you see they are hurt and retreat back to safety so they can regenerate their HP again. Then you can save that Grapple to some other victim with more HP. Same in TF2, if you don't use your Revolver you will miss out LOTS of kills. If i see a soldier on Red Health, i whip out my Ambassador and headshots him from range. My kill count goes up without taking unnecessary risks. The Shuriken Launcher is a fun and powerful tool for a class that can cloak. Shooting at walls so they bounce around objects the opponent is hiding behind is lots of fun. More people should try it.
Actually you can kill tanks with full health quite easily with assassin: Lunge attack plus backstab, the lunge almost works as a homing attack so you only need to follow up with the grapple without much fear of missing. Been using it since yesterday and it works quite well, just don't go facestabbing...
You know, not everyone knows everything about the game when they first play it. There is something as 'trial and error'. Yes, I've also run up to tanks head on, grapled them and died. But that is something I know now, and will take into account next time I see a Tank on the arena floor. You have to let people learn from their mistakes, and not expect them to be pro players with mad skills from the get go. It's easy to make a video of people dying and then saying that they suck. I think most people 'suck' at things they just started. So yeah, that video was kinda unnecessary but on the other hand it shows new people what not to do.
If they were smart they would shurkin(?) How do you spell that thing.... and get you low then go for a back-stab.
