Why not use the MNC Wiki for bug tracking? Advantages: - bugs can be listed in an orderly fashion (sorted by: confirmed, reproducible, unconfirmed...) - fixed bugs can be moved to a separate page or deleted - history allows to find older/deleted entries - everybody can leave a note, no account required - community can help to keep the page 'on track' (remove double entries and spam, sort bugs) - easier for you devs to find a bug with a description - we can create special subpage for bugs that are hard to track Downside: - it's not on the official site (a sticky at the top of the forum would help though) - some people don't like wikis, wikicode or will just post here anyway (we would have to check every day and update stuff posted in the forum) - some maintenance required, mostly from the community Comments, ideas, suggestions?
I'll probably contribute a lot towards the wiki once the beta comes out and I can aggregate information.
I think Uber will be using an in-game "Report Bug" feature, Thats another advantage of PC games. EDIT: even if they do it in-game this is still a good idea, Alot of the community would like to check out the bugs.
Hmm, actually, that's something to be concerned about. We probably should not post descriptions to any exploits.
You can always PM them to me (considering my job and all) but we will have form posted when the BETA is live that I will post up.
