[IDEA] EMP Weapons

    Considering that all of the units in this game are robotic, I'm surprised that I've heard nothing of EMP weaponry.
    My basic idea is to modify combat units to have a "disabled" or "off" state, much like factories.
    While in their "off" state, combat units wouldn't be able to fire, or move (maybe lose sight radius aswell?).

    EMP weaponry would forcibly trigger this state on for a set period of time in enemy combat units.
    I've browsed through some .json files for different units, and couldn't see anything relating to the "off" state.

    Would modifying this state be possible with the current implementation 0f server mods?
    I'm thinking that I'll probably have to wait to have access to modding this functionality, but I thought I'd make a thread, in case anyone has had a similar idea, or has found anything regarding the "off" state of units.

    Right now I think we can only do server mods with weapon types that are already in the game. Hopefully some more interesting weapons become available later. This would either be something Uber needs to program in or some kind of server-side scripting (assuming that's even possible) we would add after the server is released.
