I booted up the latest build last night for a bit of downtime, and noticed there were some funky things going on with the new strategic icons. At first I thought "well, they're different alright", then noticed that the Air Factory had a Commander icon, T1 Bombers had Radar icons, and that the rest of the icons were pretty badly glitched.

Has anybody experienced this, or know of the cause?

    System Specs:
    Windows 7 x64 Pro
    AMD PhenomII 1100T x6 CPU
AMD Firepro V5900 (FireGL V) GPU
    16GB RAM

    PA running through UberLauncher.

Note: I've just updated my Catalyst display drivers to the latest version - it didn't fix the issue. I'm also aware I'm running a workstation card, but through all the builds I've never experienced the typically-reported AMD issues and the game has been basically flawless in graphical performance 'til now.

EDIT: Thanks loki. Didn't know of dxdiag, but unsure of how to make sense of its contents. Now attached.

EDIT 2: So, I was a fool and uninstalled PAMM before deactivating mods. It was an old transparent icon mod being sneaky and causing me headaches. Everything works now.

Disable any mods, and restart PA. See if it persists.

It would be very weird if it does persist.

It does. I've got no mods installed/running, so I'm a tad confused at present.

Sorry I forgot. Was this issue ever resolved? I'm thinking that it is related to your drivers. Due to it being a workstation card. Don't really know how to fix the issue.:( You could ask @varrak about it.

dxdiag stands for DX diagnostic provides a lot of useful information when trying to troubleshoot issues such as what version of Windows, service pack level, graphics information, device information(sound, display, etc.), etc.;)

Forgot to mention - yes, it did get resolved! I was a little bit of an idiot; I uninstalled PAMM after thinking I'd disabled everything, when in fact I'd left an old transparent icon mod activated. Of course, without PAMM, I'd also forgotten and thought I didn't have any mods activated.

So, the sweet new icons are now being displayed in all their redesigned glory. :D Thanks for the info, though. Appreciate it.
