There exists a discrepancy with these icons. Observe the following images:

    [IMG] [IMG]

The Orca's icon shows one component (A) that mirrors part of the Leviathan's Icon ( C ). However, another component of the Orca's icon ( B ) seems to almost mirror part of the Barracuda's icon ( D ). The downward sloping line (left side of B ) is surely an indicator that the unit can fire upon undersea targets. However, the presence of the two dots would seem to suggest that the Orca's two (fore and aft) main batteries are involved in firing upon these targets, when they are not.

I propose that the two dots on the lower part of the Orca's icon ( B ) should be removed. I hope others will agree.

If this is does end up being considered for implementation, I hope the related issues in the vanilla game can also be addressed -- please see this thread: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/ui-issue-orca-and-narwhal-tooltip-and-icon-discrepencies.70384/

The double dots are supposed to indicate long range.

...or you could just be good and know what units you are building and not need icons to remind you.

Oh, I see. Thank you for your reply! That makes sense.

As an aside, I would note that the range for the Orca and the Barracuda's torpedoes are equal according to PADB, but I will be the first to admit that having "perfect" icons is not very important.
