That everyone would stop complaining about the strategic elements of the game. "Amagawd stop bunny hopping itz hard to shoot you." "PEOPLE GET JUICE TOO QUICKLY AND I CAN'T LEAVE ME SPAWN RAWR." "ughhhhh shammas and deadeye have reformed the axis of evil and plan to ruin the world together" "GUNNER HITS TOO HARD. SUPPORT SHOULDNT HAVE AIRSTRIKES. MY CLASS SHOULD WIN IN ANY SITUATION" So incredibly ridiculous. There is not ONE thing in this game that can not be countered if the right move is made. Yes, when you're alone with a bunch of randoms in a pub game, an organized team of six is going to steamroll you. Just about every time. Take two seconds to think that perhaps something isn't overpowered, it's just that YOUR class isn't properly equipped to handle it. The things that you may be having a difficult time with were put there for a reason by Uber so there is no ultimate class. So. Perhaps everyone can stop complaining about 'overpowered-ness' and the like, and focus their time complaining about real exploits / glitches. (random heal while juiced, party splitting, yadda yadda). :roll:
juice is still overpowered and supports still gets it by doing an easy/safe set of jumping jacks in his base (overhealing useless stuff) matter of fact, i saw several overhealed lvl 1 lazer turrents in the enemy base once. i killed them all so easily, the stupid waterguns. but i bet thats what they were for in restrospect, and why they were lvl 1 (its cheaper to buy several 25$ turrents to overheal than to upgrade one multiple times). so "buying juice" for 1/5 the price of a juice dispenser isnt a glitch? overheal juice is a glitch if thought about like that. it sickens me so bad, i wont use juice i get from overhealing when i play support :| but your kinda right about some requests in these forums. i mean juice itself isnt overpowered i guess. you just need to be a club bouncer for your base and grab that guy at the door and hold him until juice gone. if your lucky, you could do what you know you wana do to him after he isnt juiced. (uber did make juice so strong because they learned how to stop juicers when they tested a game with juice. just play as good as they do when they test.)
I juice a lot, it gets me lots of kills and wins. But i still want it gone or toned down. You make it sound like only the people on the losing end want it gone.
I s'pose I did make it sound like that, but t'was not my intention. It's just one of the more common complaints. I just get annoyed when there are umpteen threads complaining about juice when, if the correct moves are made, a juice player can be dealt with quite easily .. Even if said player at the moment is glitching to full health unintentionally. It all just involves not playing team deathmatch rawrrrr
I certainly still enjoy the game, and I don't make any threads that complain about mechanics of the game. But I still think that there needs to be some fixes. The one thing I don't like about juice is the fact that it can destroy turrets with ease. That wouldn't be a problem if a pro couldn't get a "juice chain" from buying it. I know that if a person were to guard the juice vendors it would happen less, but that wouldn't stop a person from getting the juice. But I digress. Anyways, I definitely see your point. Most of the problems I have with the game can be dealt with. And really, there aren't many gameplay problems.
Let me tell you a little story about a game and some tank on juiced gunner action. The other night I was playing with hudson and billy rubbinz ect. The setting : Steel peel, our entire team is tanks, its mid game Somebody calls out over the mic a gunner juice low in front of their base I peek over the edge (I'm on the middle platform by the ani) Sure enough enemy gunner just blew juice, but I spot my boy billy turning the corner next to him Bam, billy sacks him with a charge3 knocking him back and stunning him I drop off and right before the stun can end, wham another charge3 Billy steps up and snatches him with a tank grapple before that stun can end, launching him into the alcove next to the jump pad We both close in before he can recover, I snatch him this time and let my fists talk, launching him yet again into the wall. As he hits the ground again, no juice and in red health billy shoots him point blank in the face with a stickers for the kill. THAT'S FVCKING TEAMWORK. juicelol
I wanted to melee kill him, but the gunners are almost too scary to mess around with post patch. (No, I'm not saying that the gunners are overpowered.) Epic Juice Fail.
i would be thoroughly irate with my support if he just gave the other team 4 turret kills, and then we have 4 broken nubs to deal with. that would earn him +1 hate mail for sure.
i took on 3 juicers last night as a sniper. froze one accidentally and golf'ed him off that lazorrazor edge before he hurt our poor turrets. froze the next one intentionally as he juiced and turned the corner for his dispatched buddy, unloaded rounds into his head but each other headshot healed him (glitchy but o well ill just deal with it till next update) so when he broke out and ran for the rokkit, i hit him in the forehead with an smg and lol he hit another ice trap right as he got to the turret. that tank tried to fry the turret anyway, but i got a headshot and this time juice didnt save him. :twisted: an assualt came around and tried to drill me full of rounds, when i shot him and flaked. he was low on health as he retreated, so he juiced to save himself and started firing grenades into the other turret. i followed him thru my flak and took a chance by standing between him and the turret so i could angle the grapple to fling him over an edge. i thought he killed the turret, but it lived. thats 2 juicers dead and 1 juicer denied access to our base. you can stop juicers (easier for someone with skill pill like me), just give them scripted kills like pancakes or ringouts, or stun them grapple them and fling them.

We played all Tanks vs Tanks today during one of our playtests and it was damn fun. Lots of charging, fisticuffs, being blind most of the time and lasers everywhere!
