That looks fun. The world needs more Smash TV type games.

It is unfair that so much work went into that facade.

If this is truly an "April Fools" joke they messed up. So many people are going to demand they release some kind of working version of this.

Your missing the point. The point was that we tried out a concept with a small amount of work that was plausible to see if people would dig it. I think it worked

Yar, someone did a top-down mod for UT3 that was similarish
Few things I'd change if you guys did opt to release it to everyone

1. Pull the camera back a little more with larger arena
2. Something to indicated where your character is pointing beyond which way the model is facing. Maybe arrow coming off their marker-ring-thingie, a lasersight or a xhair

Because Smash TV is awesome.

Edit: Would "Smash MNC" work without the overview? And keep the third person perspective camera? I haven't seen this done before, so, might be interesting.

Looks like it would be fun.. It also makes me think the modding tools are coming along great.

Ah, nice didn't notice that the first time around.

The Jackbot is actually a Tankbot, with the tank head and the jackbot body. Clever. Just like the first boss in Smash TV.

Made me think of Alien Swarm a little bit, with the perspective and such.
