Well I'm close to a million dollars. I have all 6 custom classes and all the protags that I want. I have all this cash and nothing to do with it. How about cosmetic upgrades? But not have them go out of hand like TF2. Maybe alternative weapons that don't overpower their original counterparts but are more of a sidegrade like a Minigun that does more damage but has less range and shoots less bullets or something. Something, anything to spend my money on.
new clothing, new skins for existing classes, AESTHETICALLY different weapons, all of these would be nice.
Scathy and Eka have both said that the next DLC will include features to customize pros aesthetically, no word(that I recall anyways) on whether or not it'd require money to acquire such things though.
Well there's some pros and cons if they did make you spend money on it. If they're free then everyone will be using the different cosmetic changes. If they're not free and they're really expensive as a status symbol, wouldn't that be a lot like the same thing that happened with TF2? Everybody became obsessed with hats because they're status symbols. What has debate class done to me? :ugeek:
Some protags are status symbols as well, such as Gazillionaire and All Time Great. IMO the effect would be the same either way so...
Finally! I was hoping for both a money sink and a way to customize the look of my guys. Sound like they might kill two birds with one stone! What about just changing the number on your character? Any word on that? I just kind of want to change that!
all have been brought up before. im sure its fresh in uber's mind. but dont call it "something to do with money". the last time someone taunted them with the concept that there was nothing to buy anymore, they made "gazillionare"...
Ya but the thing is, the majority of us have protags that we like and we don't want more of the same.
im sure they will make a bunch of catergory of protags next game they release. like CoD style challenges while also keeping track of total kills with different weapons and giving tags for that still.
