so yeah sup all. i created this topic to get input on a few things. i played the mnc demo a few months ago. i kinda liked it but its just a demo. im looking for a funmultiplayer game to play because im already freaking pissed off at how horrible black ops is. just like its community. so can anyone give me info on the game in general (game modes, maps,DLC,etc) and also is the game super competitve or more fun orientated like TF2? either way thank you for the read and the answers in advance
You can check in the strategies section, I think there's a thread or two about general tactics/ideas to people new to the game. The best way to get familiar with each class is to play the single player blitz for a bit. Try out each class and their various skills to see what they do. I suggest if you're just starting out to play as gunner or assault in crossfire as they're the most similar to characters in other shooters. Support might be a good idea as well since he can to stick with other people and support them. lastly, the demo time has been extended another 30 mins since the patch, so you can also just jump right in and play for a bit. EDIT: as for how competitive it is it depends on who you play with.
I think you both misunderstood, he doesn't own the game yet. He just wanted to know what it is like and how it plays. Monday Night Combat is a fun and very addictive game, it blends elements from shooters and tower defense games. It's easy to pick up and play but takes time to master. It is a much welcomed change in pace from all the recently released shooters, imo. There are two game modes in the game. Crossfire and Blitz. Crossfire is 6 vs. 6 Team Multiplayer As of right now there are 4 maps. An additional map is coming soon with free dlc. Blitz is 4 players against waves of bots. The game has an overall fun vibe so can be played casually and competitively. I wouldn't say it's "super competitive" though, but lots of matches can and do come down to the wire. This is just the public matches. Private Matches can be very competitive and at the same time used to goof off and have some fun. Also hit the Media tab and check out some of their trailer videos and/or Dev Walkthroughs. [Edit] There are 6 different classes all with unique abilities and personalities. Monday Night Combat is the sport of the future and you, the player, are the Professionals. Of course with any major sport how can you not have sponsors. MNC has a unique "sponsorship" setup in the form of Endorsements. Each Pro is allowed to "wear" 3 endorsements. To simply put it, endorsements are basically like Perks.
awesome post! exactly what i was looking for! oh and tell me when does the dlc comes out? and do you mind if i add you if i get the game? anyways thanks a lot!
I know, right? All that sweaty man-love almost put me off when I started playing. Luckily I'm a flamboyant homosexual, so I just put on my nicest assless chaps and had a super time!
sorry for that post. got my *** handed and i had to rage  i tried it again and only class i can be good with is the engineer :|
