I just Rage Quit (Bug report inside, devs)

    Shot a Product Grenade (level 2) at a fire base. No lag. Firebase did not stop shooting at all. Did not get blinded. Hit animation displayed correctly. Skill was reset to cooldown. Continued to shoot me for two seconds. Killed me. My party can verify since I was split from them, despite us having host, and no new party members joining/leaving, or any of the other things that override the usual party system.

    I really love this game when it runs smoothly, but I've had a ridiculous amount of issues getting it to run smoothly since the patch.

    The product grenade thing is hardly new, but it was pretty much the last straw after getting split from the party again. I'm tired of my skill hitting, displaying the animation, and not registering and still costing me a cooldown.

    I totally agree with you here, product grenades no longer throw down with firebases no more, i tried this and like hudson said, it was not phased by the grenade and while my grenade was level 3, i only hit the firebase once. after i had hit it twice more in the same match, still no hit detection, and again, like hudson said, i also lost my cooldown, and there also happens to be a glitch that happens before the patch, if you use your skill the second and i repeat the SECOND it's able to be used again, it disappears, so it's like i have to wait atleast one whole second after the skill regenerates. And i'm always known to use skills at the right time, but being halted for a second just to use the skill really sucks, if i use it, it goes away and i have to wait for it to regenerate again if i use it the moment it comes back. This needs to be fixed.

    i had this happen to a 3.3 lazer turret as well. level 3 bombed it, and then it cut me down.

    i agree with soap over there, though i don't use the giant crab(tank) i have seen this with some of my team mates

    i can also verify the product grenade not working 5% of the time on turrets, most commonly firebases.

    i can verify as well the skills which spawn an item not working if used the very instant they show as charged. it just gets charged and you immediately use it (to throw something like a product grenade, bomb, firebase, trap, airstrike), and the gauge goes down like you used it but does not use it. so you lose the gauge and have to wait, without getting to lay your item down, unless you make sure to wait a second or two after its charged and ready.

    I have died many a time from firebases after smokebombing them :oops:

    Party splits, party splits everywhere.

    I still have yet to see this happen, but I definitely believe it considering all of the issues with lag and hit detection. It has to be some sort of lag issue. Is your grenade on 2 or 3? I rarely upgrade to 3 and never have this happen, so maybe that is the issue.

    if it helps, i notice lvl 3 product grenade actually does it less, tho i have someone else in here saying it still does it periodically.

    if they fixed the assassins sprint glitch, maybe they can apply the same tracking of the skill use to the other skills of other classes. meanwhile we just need to keep track of internet speed and ping, and compensate for it if its bad

    sadly, im getting great at adjusting fire trajectory for better hit detection, and skill timing so i dont spend my firebase charge on a patch of thin air. also, i never completely trust a product grenade to blind a turret, i test it to make sure before completely uncovering.

    I imagine there'll be shouts of "Eureka!" and "Why didn't WE think of that?" when the Uber devs read this.

    I know I was really rooting for this patch, but now that it's out something seems... off. Anyone else feel it too? I don't know what it is, but something feels wrong with the game now.

    Back to the topic, I think this has happened to me as well. This glitch could really screw up the tank if it's not fixed soon.

    THIS. And THIS.

    Smoke bomb works about as effectively as the Product Grenade on turrents. As in, they don't half the time.

    On a side note, the Smoke Bomb jump fails about 80% of the time for me now. Gets me killed way too much.

    I died three times today because of failed smokebombs
    Usually its when I try to jump from the ani pad on G3 to the enemy teams sniper perch
    If I get a dud, I jump up 2 feet and fall to my death :roll:

    Also, once again tonight I got fed up and quit playing.
    Every single game the host would quit either before the match started, or right before they lost.
    Not only this but most of the games were laggy, and our party was getting split non stop no matter what we did.

    not only would the host quit, but it would fail to migrate, at least 5 times conecutively, and at least 10 times overall.

    This isn't a glitch, I asked the developers to nerf Hudson's "stickers" when he hit me from half the length of the lazor razor arena. I'm glad this finally happened.

    I'm still mad about him killing me like that. grrrr[/jk]
