Mostly because we have plenty of people on the Beta and we want to fix things before launching with more marketing.
I daresay Uber is doing something incredibly right if they got MNC into the top-twenty selling games without advertising. Word-of-mouth advertising has been pretty strong from what I've gathered. I posted a few links and comments on Facebook a fortnight ago. I know two people bought the game because of that. Another forum that Jessep and myself frequent has quite a few people talking about it.
Wait a minute...you mean you're not following the "release now, fix later" mantra that 99% of other companies follow?! wtf! Kudos to you Uber for taking that stance.
Even to the point of delaying release to ensure a polished, working product on day one. My flabber will stay forever gasted.
This man draws spiders in lieu of paying debt. On topic, it is only in Beta, and Penny Arcade have given it a few mentions.
