I'd suggest starting a group of your own (or hooking up with other existing groups). Bolt started out only playing with WeaponX, I started with Greggyyyy. If uber ever releases more private match options (*cough* rotating randomized teams *cough*) I think a lot of the forum community will be shifting to private matches for the majority of the time.
add gamertags: MNC Crossfire MNC Privates then message friends of those accounts to get into a team perhaps but do not forget the thrill of combat, when you fight an uphill battle on purpose, and at least try to give a good enemy team indegestion while they swallow their victory. for instance, i played against deadeye. he won. killed me more times than i killed him. BUT of the seven times he died, i killed him 5 times and turrets got him 2 times. and the first kill of the entire game was my assault bomb strapped to his gunner head. that got his attention and gave him that indegestion i spoke of earlier. lol my team was horrible, he coulda uber-streaked against them. so what? i made sure he didnt
Adding people from the forums doesn't work. I have the majority of them on my friends list and I never get invites and if I join them in progress they ask me to leave. Soo yea. It doesn't matter to me anymore because my Xbl is up tomorrow and I don't know for how long. Playing w/out a team isn't so bad but playing against a party that brags how they just won is really annoying.
When you join a session in progress, they may get angry and ask you to leave because it usually messes up their party and splits them up.
gotta find someone with space, always gotta keep browsing through people and the forums and those two accts full of crossfire players, until you find someone with space. personally, i find a whole team is overkill, doesnt anyone else feel that 3-5 players is sufficient? plus if i learned anything from CoD, its that you can play faster if you only require 4-5 opponents to begin, instead of 6 or nothing.
3 man parties are the best, getting 3 guys to start takes no time at all and having 3 randoms on the team gives you just enough of a challenge that it's still engaging
This and this. @stretch You would get more invites if they had actually fixed migration and party splits.
I like playing with a few friends but I'm not against playing alone. It sucks that you pretty much have to do everything without help but you can become a better player for doing it. But it is certainly a nice change from 2 minute matches over and over again.
