I fixed a bug :D FS#4046

    This is my favorite bug, my pet bug, the one that bothers me most often in the heat of battle.

    PA#4046

    Just as exterminans posted in his comment, the AA vehicle is missing a unittype, UNITTYPE_Offense+UNITTYPE_Land, so I thought what the heck I've done very simple mods for Supcom, I can do this !
    So in we go into the json, add UNITTYPE_Offense+UNITTYPE_Land, save the file and start a local server, and VOILA I fixed a bug :D

    Uber pls do this, it would make me so happy, and probably anyone who likes to use hotkeys a lot.

    @robintick patch affects AA and boom, but not comfabs. How do you feel about need for mod?

    Oh I hadn't noticed comfabs weren't included because I don't use them, but instead of updating the mod let's poke @jables to fix this fully for vanilla :)

    I could see some arguments about whether comfabs are 'offense', but you may very well want them in attack groups.

    It's not so much that they themselves are offensive units, it's that you want them moving with your offensive units just like the AA vehicle needs to be included in their ranks to form an effective army.
    Combat fabs also used to ignore attackmove orders, this caused your army to move to a target leaving behind the comfabs which is probably not what the player wanted, that got fixed.

    There hasn't been anything further on this. Is there still enough interest to make this worth maintaining?

    The fix is included in the stable build so I guess the mod is now obsolete, which is good :)
