I bought this game which is apparently in beta. It runs with the Chrome browser which is totally new to me, but I honestly don't notice a difference. It's essentially a "Collect, Explore, Surive" type game with a pretty unique style - reminds me of Tim Burton. You start off as Wilson and unlock characters with unique ability through exp that you gain every time you die. You collect items that you can eat, make tools/items with, and research to make better stuff. It barely has a story line, but it's fun to see how far you can survive. You can currently buy it only Steam for $12 and you get a second copy for free. I think it's neat and worth the buy. Just thought I'd share.
there is crafting, yes. I mean, minecraft is becoming its own genre like DOTA. kinda like FPS games were once called Doom clones. It's still fun.
