I've been playing since August and recently made the switch to PC. Nothing has changed. No one focuses on the objective. I can't level up skills because I'm the only one upgrading turrets. I watch Pros go for Pros across the screen when they KNOW our moneyball is being attacked. I can't do it. I don't rage in video games but MNC is the ONLY game that gets me so effing mad. Unless I can find a clan...but, every clan I see is just as focused on K. It was a good run.
So your quitting because this game has just been released and you expect all the new people to understand the game fully and do what you want? Well, i guess its good bye
Are you the same bloke that was on 3FL this morning, absolutely ripping it up with Sniper? If so, well fuggin' done, it's been a while since I had a good challenge.
You've been playing since august and you still prioritize turrets over skills? It took maybe 5 games before I realized that if everyone is going to be derping it up I'm not wasting my money.
Admittedly, I'm a decent support. I don't brag. I hate it in fact, but I grasp what my duties are and I try to perform them well. I understand that if people in my pub are going to "derp it up" that my money is better spent than on turrets, but when my base is being ravaged and they've been making constant attacks on it, turrets can be the difference between defeat and a win. Yes. I play pubs because I don't know any better. I've tried to rectify that but, I'm not making much headway as of yet. Yes, the game is new. But, I recently played on 360 again after a short haitus due to my 360 breaking, and its the same crap there too. I've never played a game where your teammates can really dictate how much fun you do or do not have. It's crazy! It just seems like I can spend all the money on spawning my bots or making sure my base is protected, while everyone else goes pell mell towards the opponents moneyball, not killing any bots on the way, going for that pro kill then backing out. Just frustrating is all, guys.
I hate you, by the way. Well, only when you're on the other team. Anyway - to OP. I find that sure, I'll get the odd team that is useless (3 Assassins, 1 Sniper, 1 bad Tank or whatever) - but with most teams, as you do better, and take certain initiatives (getting the annihilator with your own cash as they probably won't), they do better. If you fulfill your class duties, they'll probably follow suit and hold their own. That said, some don't. And that's why Uber made it possible to Taunt in spawn.
D: To OP. I dont get it... The game has literally just come out and you expect everyone to know how to play and what to do. Sure they SHOULD have a basic grasp of the game but not all people do. Give it time and im sure they will get better. If youre fed up with losing how bout being an offensive support instead of wasting money and time on defending.
To be honest, I'm not fed up with losing - I'm fed up with the players that think this is TDM. Also, the Tanks and Gunners that stand in the main exit and spend three minutes choosing Skills **** me to tears as well. I really wish that area has a no buying stuff aura.
This! I can't think of a worse spot to pick skills. And it#s amazing how much time some people spend in the skill picking menu. You would think one or two seconds would be enough to select two skills...
I think it's newbies who haven't got their Skills memorised. After having played Tank for so long, I have a decent grasp of what Skill Order (compare: build order from RTS) I should use for each arena.
I have mouse macros for all the menu selections so as soon as the game starts I book it out the tunnel past the squad of skill selectors and instantly select skills once I'm out of their way.
