Just a technical query really as I don't know how this stuff works. It's been stated that 32 and 64-bit will be supported, presumably this will mean that there are two different executable files? If there are indeed separate versions of the executable, how will that work? Will players have to choose which version to download at release? And most importantly, are there likely to be any compatability issues with 64-bit players joining a game hosted by a 32-bit player? Or with 32-bit players joining a 64-bit-hosted game that has sufficiently limited parameters to theoretically run on a 32-bit system?
Guess just based on my technical understanding: yes the exe will be different. You will probably always download both version. The changes are only within the game's exe and the exe is not that big anyway. no, the games should "talk" over the network in a common language
