I just cant figure out how to make a nice green planet full of trees without water.

The obvious is to lower the water slider incrementally till it's all gone, but that changes the planet to some trees and lots of 'dirt?' space.

What do I need to do to get this to work?

Tropical planets can have a lot of green, but the trees can really kill your framerate.
