I'm sick of being the only one on my team to destroy turrets, while the gunners try to use their miniguns and nobody else does much of anything, so I'm gonna try a quick class-by-class guide to destroying turrets. Maybe a future random teammate will learn something.

My primary played classes are Tank, Gunner, and Assassin, so there I probably won't be able to cover some tricks with the other 3. If anyone has any tips I'm missing, let me know and I'll add them!

    Assassin
SHURIKENS! Shurikens will do pretty decent damage against turrets from a reasonable range. Not only are they decent at destroying turrets, but you'll gain juice while doing it, which will let you take out even more!

Lunge will do damage against turrets, but if there's much lag in the game it can also get you kind of stuck on them, making it hard to move to the next one if you're juiced.

Using smoke bomb near a turret will disable it for a good amount of time. Good for taking out Lv2 Lazers, Lv1 rockets, and firebases if you find yourself next to one.

Lv1 and Lv2 lazer blazers are a joke. You can just lunge and melee them down. For the LV2, you might want to throw down a smoke bomb to avoid some damage. Lv1 and Lv2 also go down very quickly to shurikens, but melee builds your juice up faster. Avoid getting anywhere near Lv3 Lazers unless you're juiced - they'll tear you up before you can even throw a smoke bomb, and they have way too much health to melee. It will take 4 or 5 clips, but use shurikens on them.

When taking out rockits with shurikens, aim for the top. The main post is skinny and you'll miss a lot if you aim down there. You can take out Lv1 rockits at melee without too much problem. Stealth up to them, attack a couple times, then smoke bomb. Rockits are really slow to lock on and start firing, so you don't need to smoke bomb immediately. Lv2 or 3 rockits are best left for juicing.

A Lv1 firebase will go down in just 2 clips of shurikens. I believe Lv2 and 3 take 3 clips if they aren't overhealed.

Longshots are no threat at all. They go down fast to shurikens, and you can walk right up to them for melee.

When you have juice, shurikens and the sword are both excellent for taking out turrets.

    Tank
The jet gun does good damage against turrets, but you have to be right next to them.

The railgun does crap for damage, but you can spam it all day long at range. Good for softening them up before you close in, but it's slow if it's all you're using. It takes over 30 shots to destroy a Lv1 rockit or Lv3 lazer.

Product grenade Lv2 and 3 will blind a turret briefly. Lv3 will also do decent damage, but you should be careful to not hurt yourself with it as well.

My favorite way to deal with turrets like the Lv3 laser and Lv1 rockit is to throw a product grenade and take a few railgun shots at a distance. Wait for the grenade to recharge, throw it again as you move in, and finish off the turret with the jet gun. Remember to use your death blossom right before running out of ammo for some extra damage.

    Gunner
USE THE MORTAR! The minigun is godawful against turrets, and you'll get backstabbed or sniped a thousand times before destroying anything.

Always make sure you're at enough of a range for the mortar to split in midair.

Since the mortar basically fires from your feet, you'll often need to jump if you want to fire from an elevated position. This is especially important in LazeRazor Arena. Learn to take jumpshots at turrets from the top level, and you'll be a defender's nightmare.

The mortar is the fastest non-juiced way to take out turrets, and you can often use it from quite a long range. It even does great damage to bots and enemy pros that get in the way.

Firebases are the exception. For some reason, even though the minigun does terrible damage against all other turrets, it does well against firebases.

    Assault
Like the gunner's minigun, your assault rifle does basically nothing to turrets.
The grenade launcher doesn't do a huge amount either, but you can spam it from a very long distance since the grenades don't change direction when they bounce off the ground. There are some turrets you can take out base-to-base on ammo mule and steel peel.

I'm not too sure because I don't play much assault, but from what I've seen, the remote bomb does very disappointing damage to turrets. Someone correct me here if I'm wrong.

    Sniper
High level flak does a huge amount of damage to turrets. It can destroy firebases and lower level turrets outright, and it's good for softening up the bigger turrets. If you've got time, you can spam down turrets at long range with the rifle, especially if you have a rate-of-fire endorsement.

    Support
    Airstrikes.

When you're juiced, the hurt gun will take down turrets pretty quickly.

I do a pretty good job of destroying turrets with my assaults Grenade Launcher...it isn't nearly as good as the sniper rifle, but it gets the job done. The only time I have a problem is if a support is healing it.

For the Gunner I find it far easier to take down a firebase using the minigun. Even overhealed they don't have a lot of health and can be torn apart pretty easy. The main exception to this is if they're around a corner, in which case the mortar is a better choice.

Assassins can destroy all level 1 turrets in the beginning of a game with ease, and snipers should be focusing on taking out turrets as well. Honestly if the enemy gets all their turrets up to level 3... Then your team deserves to lose. I'm not being a jerk to the OP, your quick guide is good btw and very informative.
