Well long story short. I'm done with institute and now I need a job, I made resume, there are some chances for me to get decent job or at least that is what I like to think, I have no bloody idea since this is the first time I am doing this. The whole moving from being a student to looking for a job thing feels slightly weird. Anyone got any advice?
Submit your resume to http://rezscore.com/ It's a free evaluation tool to see how good your resume is. Since you just graduated, and probably lack experience, make sure to list school projects you worked on. Make a LinkedIn page. Fill it out as much as possible. Put the link on your resume. Consider getting certifications, as these can help to substitute for lack of experience. If you are unemployed, you country may have programs to help you get free certifications through the unemployment office. Look into this. In the USA there is the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) which has payed for a bunch of certifications I am doing now.
Yeah! Only cool kids play Early Access sci fi RTS games and talk in detail about how it could be made better and sometimes code their own mods for it!
Pfft I'm the least mature person in the world IRL but I got cool games **** going on right now. NDA FTW
Ah I didn't write the projects I did in my resume, that is brilliant idea. I will check the rest too. Thank you!
I think it feels wierd, but is easier than you would think. Lack of experience is generally overshadowed by abundance of educational background, at least as far as entry level goes. If all else fails, find a bridge job into the career of your choice. My buddy Will started with Lyondell-bassell R&D department, with only an associate's degree, by making contacts inside and also getting hired on by the low end bulk hiring contractor for them and working the low end of the job. After a year of experience and persistent applying, he landed one of the most unique jobs in practically the world.
Drink coffee, talk about diseases, jobs and weather. Nail 2 out of 3, wola. Grown up Your set for the next 100 years of adulthood. I would say weather is a big winner, allways know the weather and you will be king of grown ups u know PS: Old people suck ***!
It`s really funny tho, how old people allways say: Even tho im "this age" im not really that old. Even tho 50 years have past, im still 20 you know. I think that is inspiring.
