As an extreme gaming masochist, I find it difficult to do well for an extended period of time and continue to enjoy myself. So I purposefully nerf myself in pubs every other rotation. Personal favorites of mine. All Melee assassin(MVP is still VERY possible, especially if you juice taunt) Pacifist assassin(easy to MVP) Sumo ONLY Gunner(prepare to get raped by anyone with a gun, every kill though is about as satisfying as getting bacon directly injected into your veins) Ginger Stepchild(another one of those ones where you can actually do pretty well) Mr. Fireworks(grapple with your grenade launcher and headcrab people before charge 3ing them, blowing them up in midair) Spambot(product grenade, charge, and DB only) Touchpad sniper(use the touchpad on a laptop and use the sniper rifle(I have a policy of never using more than a single clip of the sniper rifle otherwise)) The goal of these is to make it difficult to do well, but still possible to contribute to your team enough to not get kicked. A few are actually viable tactics in normal situations. Ginger stepchild in particular is really nice if there's another sniper on your team. Grapple the enemy, they get headshot. Freeze the enemy, they get headshot. Melee only assassin is great for early game assassin as it builds juice like mad. Unfortunately as your opponents upgrade their skills it becomes less viable and you have to switch back to normal. I'm looking for some new ones, know anything good?
Headcrabbing as either assault or support and back grappling with the shuriken launcher as assassin. If I'm really bored I might try playing sniper.
