    Chose where my commander goes? I click a spot but nothing happens, aside from a brief circle that flashes.

    There is something that maybe looks like metal. Cant zoom in or out though.

    ED: nvm. Trash?

    Click on the Commander.
    Click on the icons in the bottom list.
    Move the mouse until the red skeleton becomes a white skeleton.
    Click!

    It should be pretty obvious if you have ever played a RTS before. If it is not you may suffer from a bug, press F5 to reload the UI. If that still not helps restart the game.
