Hitman: Absolution Mega Info Thread.

Since it only 10 day's until the release of Hitman: Absolution I have decided to make this thread to give people the information they need to form an opinion on this upcoming title. I will start by showing all the official videos that have been released leading up to the 20th, I will then continue with ICA files and follow with interviews this will lead into gameplay after this I will link to any interesting articles on the game I will also explain the story and the new contracts mode.

Contracts Mode.

Hitman: Absolution will introduce its first multi-player mode(contracts), In this mode you will be able to choose any part of a level and create 3 custom hits on any npc (although not on generic people in crowds). It will track what outfit you were wearing, what weapon you used and if you were seen or weather or not it was an "accident" kill, there will also be a timer that starts on your first kill so work quick! This means after your friends can try and beat your time as well. From these contracts you will earn money and with this money you can unlock better guns, silencers, outfits and more, you are also free to go about the contact anyway you want but for example if you were to do a stealth contract all guns blazing it will significantly decrees the payout of said contract. Story. [Spoilers]

Hitman: Blood Money ended with Diana helping 47 to fake his death, in order for him to escape The Franchise. 47 killed their leader, former FBI director Alexander Leland Cayne, though he was part of a larger secret society called Alpha Zerox. Diana and the rest of ICA do not know 47's whereabouts, nor does the player for certain - though the last scene shows 47 entering an Asian (possibly Chinese) establishment, asking suspiciously what they have to offer, "preferably in the back".

The first in-depth trailer for the game shows Agent 47 storming a safe-house, and confronting Diana while she is showering. 47 is "betrayed by those he once trusted and now hunted by the police, he suddenly finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth". At least one portion of the game will be set in Chicago, but it has been confirmed that the rest of the game will take place within the US.

It is also confirmed that 47 will kill Diana in her mansion under the order of the Agency as Diana found incriminating evidence about the ICA. Diana then asks 47 for a final request which is to protect and find this girl called Victoria. As 47 accepts Diana's dying wish, the ICA deem 47 as traitor and sent a group of assassins known as The Saints to kill him.

According to the latest cinematic trailer for Absolution, released on 26th October 12, titled as "How many lives will you take to save one?", Diana has already told Victoria that "a man will come, not like other men. He will protect you. Don't judge him for what he does.", implying that Diana already suspects that she will be assassinated by 47.

47's back.

Codename 47's mission Traditions of the Trade remains as my favourite point across the series. There was so much to do in that hotel...

I wish Absolution to have a level like such.

I'm really looking forward to this game, love the series, love the diversity of the levels, can't wait to see what people do with the dynamic mission system - pretty much endless replayability.

I remember reading an article that this Hitman was going to be ruined by finding out things in missions, restarting the mission, and completing it with ease.

Sounds like every Hitman game to date, hell, sounds like every stealth based game to date, actually it sounds like any game with nonrandom encounters.

was that the level with the ghost in the bathroom with the tub full of blood? If so, that was my favorite level too.

Also, it was fun trying to catch the "other you" in one of the levels. If you caught him, you would explode. Apparently, you weren't actually supposed to catch up to him.
