I got the game a little while ago and one thing that i noticed is that i have no build order on building. By this i mean i have to wait for the commander to finish building, for example 1 metal extractor. Now i have to select the next one after waiting for the first one to be done. I thought that there is some kind of build order where you can que the construction of multiple buildings without waiting on the first one.
just hold shift down while placing orders. This works with all orders, not just build orders. ex. move then attack.
fair enough, this is a pretty common feature in modern rts games so it can be easy to overlook in those not familiar with them
welcome, and visit my buddy's excellent PA site for some really helpful tutorial videos PAmatches.com/tutorials my personal recommendation = at first, play a ton of normal skill level AI skirmish only, reducing the AI's resource flow and boosting your own play around with everything, bash a moon against another or shoot a hole in a moon... get a feel for how long it takes to build up an army and teleport them all to another planet then slowly even out the resources, then begin to boost the AI's skill level you're now ready to go up against the worst of the human players which would be... uh... me
