The atmosphere of it as well as the fact that its the first game out of Uber entertainment has me quite enthralled.

I come from a fast paced futuristic sports TPS called S4 League and i mus say that this game may be the first i have encountered that delivers gameplay just as satisfying... when I get the chance to play that is...

The thing is i use a laptop for my needs and as is the issue with non-gaming laptops I have no real dedicated VRAM. Its all shared and an Intel chip at that. The max Graphical memory is 1695MB and while i can start up a game of Team Fortress and not experience slowdown unless i step into a whole mess of trouble I don't think my playing experience with this game will be too speedy or pretty.

Anyway I'm working towards buying or building a desktop that will replace my laptop as my gaming/work rig. Until then i might just buy this game and keep it on the backburner.

So far the community to me seems as if its trying to promote teamwork and less death matching and I like that.

I now have a few questions, the most important of which is if there are any "scrubs" or people that whine and complain if I beat them repeatedly with a certain class or start spawning class specific droids and get called noob for it.

    It happens in any game.

This game is fairly balanced though. Uber took a lot of time and stuck to a system to make this game, and I believe it payed off. There is one objective to win, but its made deep by parameters. The moneyball is all you must destroy, but the enemy is also trying to destroy yours, and you have to use map control to push bots up to the enemy base.

This balances many goals and tactics into place. Two bot lanes must be kept in check, at least one needs to make it to the enemy base, juice needs to be watched for to keep the enemy from power-rushing, and each class performs a different skill that makes it strong for certain tasks and enemies, weak against others. Map control is important, from bots to turrets to enemies. Stradegy to place turrets, bots, and teammate's classes in certain places makes each game unique and interesting.

Ok so, I have been a console gamer all my life but in the past 2-3 years I have been looking into PC gaming. A friend told me about a free game that my PC could run and it was S4 League. I didn't play for long, because I was getting owned, but that game was AWESOME!.

I am very glad you check out MNC, because it is a fantastic game. If you are willing to get over the moderate learning curve you my friend have found the biggest hidden gem in this gen.

To answer your question directly, yes. Monday Night Combat is a heavily team based game and no matter how much the game promotes that there are still plenty of players who are set on being a lonewolf. Those lonewolfs are the ones who complain about certain aspects of the game. Monday Night Combat is meant to be played as a team game and if done so can be the best gaming experience you will ever come across. Alternatively if you try to be a one-man-army and believe k/d ratio wins games, you will be upset with the outcome.

    Enjoy the game!
Any other questions please do feel free to ask away.

Try to BE a one man army.

IDK, you have to play like a team, but the pc players often play good as a team even if they are randoms. They don't seem to have the xbox360 problem. It's quite nice, if I ever go in a game without a party i'd do it on PC.

Had a good game tonight with damondium. I got to play sniper a bit, it's pretty nice to have a r700 (4 shots?), as far as how much better is it to use a mouse I would say its perfect at 4 shots because God I can't hardly kill one group of bots at a time now. Its just at acceptable right now, any weaker and i'm telling people, it will bite.

Thanks for the input. I'll be working towards that new system and I'll more than likely buy it and when the time comes transfer it over.

I found it in a secret compartment in my bag that I had no idea I used before.

Unless there is some sort of slip space rift at the bottom of my bag I don't think I could have took it.

I used to play S4. It was a pretty decent game let down by a failure of a company (alaplaya). So when the retards over at ala messed the game beyond any repair I moved to TF2.

...Then it was Valve's turn to mess everything up... Then this game came out, so here I am.

The game isnt unplayable... I'm an older player so I switched to my perm set from pre patch 10 and switched to the NA server. My bothers with the community and economy were gone so i was able to enjoy the gameplay and improved server preformance over at the NA. I've even started winning more matches and played better but that is a discusion for another time.

The game finished downloading earlier today so when school lets out and my work is done I have fun times ahead.

I played since Beta, but last I checked you couldn't actually keep up with the maintenance costs if you wanted to use permanent weapons without real cash, let alone buy new ones. And since timed items can go **** themselves with a cattle prod, I said no thanks.

@Goose: "Has anyone really been far as decided to use even go want to do look more like?"

Then I have good news for you. The system has been tweaked so its impossible that you dont make a profit unless you join as soon as the game is over. Also the higher your level the more PEN you gain.

And now for something completely different...

Though I shouldnt, I fired up the game yesterday with the graphics turned way down and was able to play for quite some time albeit with FPS lag after 3hrs of play. I can see where the balance in this game shines as well as the humor and I'm feeling motivated enough to get a part-time job to buy a respectible gaming desktop to replace my laptop and possibly be my work setup for college later this year.

I'm going into game design and I was inspired to do so by the impact a choice few games had on me but never has a game been so fun despite my limitations that it has inspired me to do manual labor.
