I tested this out yesterday with health regen as a skill and there wasn't that much of a difference in wait time. It did seam to refresh the bar a little faster to fill though but the wait time was still the usual 8-10 seconds depending on the endorsement. Anyone care to explain ?
unless its the refresh rate of how fast the bar fills and not the wait time? meaning if its filling up deploy and it will fill quicker? or it is wrong it does increase your health while deployed aka damage reduction
Deploy doesn't decrease damage intake. Only once you hit level deploy will you get a damage reduction from snipers. It doesn't make you recharge faster. The gunner's deploy is offensive while the tank's deploy is defensive.
im guessing its the refresh rate (time to fill the bar) not the wait time.. (time for it to start to charge) ill look into it again the gunner while deployed does have an increased amount of defence to prove it go play a 1v1 private game and get the gunner juiced and deploy 3 Have a support or a assault headcrab/beacon the gunner the gunner should be able to live then try it without deploy and see the difference I did this way back with mlg and a couple others... youll also notice the air beacon does a little more damage then the headcrab (level 3's) anyhow could be the wiki is wrong but don't understand why they would mention it
It could also mean a PC player updated it and we all know the numbers between XBox and PC aren't the same.
true... anyhow i went back and tried some experiments and deploy does nothing to benefit health regen in any way. confirmed.
