The last few days there is more ppl as support and one thing i notice is how far a hurt beam hits. I think it is hitting way further then it should be i can walk far away while its linked and it stays on me. Maybe you guys can deem it down in the next updates.
im not sure if this is intentional or not but i can use my hurt gun on a lvl1 rocket turret and stay out of its range
The hurt/heal gun has always had quite a long range. If you want to get away from it, turn a corner. Sharp.
Fixed that up for ya. Seeing as how the support is a mid to close range fighter, this would reduce him to being almost exclusively a close range class. If you exclude his firebase and airstrikes, which he may not always have to back him up. So I'm going to have to say a big N O to that.
simply reducing the lock-on angle it can turn would fix it. fix it as in make it easier to go from healing one thing, to healing something nearby the thing you were healing last (without having to wait forever, this is a common complaint that aquiring new targets after already hitting an old one is impossible and it always wants to target the thing last hit) fix it as in make it impossible to hit things around a pretty sharp corner, like turrets that cant hit you because your slightly around the corner, and pros that cant chase you around fast enough before theyre dead. fix as in leave its range alone so its still possible to use it up to 2x farther than the shotgun, but still keep supports from killing people thru 2 walls. sounds like a good fix to me. or you can leave it alone, i suppose you should be able to kill a support (hes entirely correct about that)
