I noticed that the Support's Heal gun doesn't boost health regen on a damaged pro in any way other than giving a bit of health per second (RoF dependant), so I think why not have the heal gun reduce the time for health to regen too, also RoF dependant e.g. gold RoF gives a 50% boost, silver 35% and bronze 20%. So a gold rate of fire Support could have a dying gunner back on the front lines fully over healed in 7 to 10 seconds, rather than it taking like 15. During the healing there is a 5% increase in Juice gain, this would help shift Support attention to pros and above all wounded ones, as they would give the increased juice. Hopefully I explained it properly and people understand what I'm trying to get across. Thoughts? Opinions? Am I thinking good or being naive?
I think it'd break health recovery. I can't imagine a good way to balance it because if it triggers self-healing then it'd be abusable as hell, but if it required a couple seconds before it triggered self-healing wouldn't it pretty much be just barely faster than normal? Just my two cents.
I don't mean that if you quickly latch onto a player and then stop it speeds up health recovery, you have to remain latched for it to work. E.g. if you could halve the time for health to regen by latching on to a pro for a second it will equate to 2 seconds of their health waiting to start the regeneration but once you let go, the rate goes back to normal.
