Heal gun randomly not working

    I see that addressed, but there are also issues I have seen multiple times where:

    It appears you are locked on and healing a teammate, bot or turret, but their health is not going up. The audio during this often has a slower pitched sound than it usually does. You have to unlock/relock (sometimes several times), before it'll work correctly. This actually happens on a regular basis.

    You'll see the same issue and the audio will do the same thing, but no heal/hurt beam is emitting from your gun at all. Several times when this has happened I've left it on and turned all around to see if it was maybe going backwards to some other target but it hasn't been the case.

    I've also seen the heal/hurt beam go to random points and stay there rather than the player/turret/bot you are actually affecting... and.. lastly I've seen the beam emit the wrong color on several occasions while healing a teammate. Not sure, but I suspect these 2 issues have been in laggy games..

    I've looked for threads with these issues mentioned, but was surprised not to find one..

    The heal gun in the current patch is partially broken. It was broken before but some changes in this last update made it worse.

    The basic problem is the server and the client disagree about what the weapon is targeting.

    Yeah, I have had all those experiences too. Also I've had a few times where I'm juiced and doing absolutely no damage to the opposition. I'm sure it will all be sorted in the next patch though :)

    Having played support up to lvl 99 and still doing it, I've pretty much run into all the problems with the HHGun. Maybe the support should mail order TF2's Medigun. Now that is an accurate beam :lol:

    Just have to cross my fingers and hope that the next update will fix it for good. :)
