Just getting tired of having to download PA Legion everytime I join a lobby, when I already have it installed on my system. I don't really understand why PA can't just check my system to see if I already have that mod instead of downloading it every time. Not to mention having to upload mods to the PA Server, even when they are well known Community Mods found under the Community Mods tab.
Any server mods that the host has installed are uploaded to the server so that they can be downloaded by the other players when they join. This ensures that all players are using the same version of the same server mods. This is to prevent anyone from having an unfair advantage.
You can't do a simple version check? Otherwise people would have to download steam games everytime they start the game.
That doesn't prevent me from editing a server mod to my advantage while maintaining the version number
