Ok, I get some Engines built, only need 3 for this small moon, and I click on "send to annihilate" and it takes me to a zoomed out map, it says click planet where I want to attack, but I cannot zoom in, I cannot click anything, I can't click cancel, nothing.

This is the 2nd time I've tried now, to the same effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Click the red icon next to the planet that you want to smash.

Yeah, I can't click anything, I have to kill the game process in order to be able to do anything, restarting the game doesn't help, I tried to "reconnect" to my game and continue with the planetary smashing, but I still get stuck in that zoom mode, unable to click anything.

This happened to me as well. Nevertheless, but i don't know if it's a UI bug or my mistake, i couldn't select the planet i wanted to smash, only the main planet. My system was a custom one with 3 planets, being one main and two moons. The first moon was a big metal template and the second was a common small moon that needed only 3 engines to launch. When I was done, i wanted to smash the metal moon, but the game got frozen and I couldnt see it as an option.

The only thing I can think of is if you've got something in orbit of your asteroid and are trying to launch it, that might be playing havoc.
But yeah, the UI is a tad tricky at the moment when launching. In the "Zoomed Out" mode, you just double click the little red icon (the bullseye) next to a planet's name on the dropdown on the right. Then it'll zoom to that planet and you left click a particular spot and hit the big ANNIHILATE button in the centre.

FYI if you lose your Eco UI afterwards, go to Game Settings and hit "Save and Close" to bring it back.

Ok, I got it to launch the moon, but it froze the game up as it was rounding the sun. I don't know if it's because I hit F12 for a screenshot though. Gonna play again and find out.
