Have you guys tried using area commands with nukes?

    The most I've used is four, but I liked the way it showed the radius of the detonation.

    I tried testing a Forty-nuke game, but I crashed before that.

    Also, while we are talking about nukes, can we please get the price of both the nuke and launcher halved??

    It's so expensive noone uses them anymore

    PTE on June 9 would have been circa 67099-main.

    Haven't tried it in this build for possible changes (have you seen the cost of those things?)

    Thing is, the major nuke cost increase (combined with the antinuke cost reduction) has made mass-nuking basically obsolete. I understand the reason for the nuke cost increase (so that defensive nukes weren't so powerful), but right now it means that they're only good against someone who forgot to prepare for them. If mobile anti-nukes were added and nukes returned to being about 30K metal, I'd probably use them a lot more.

    ya, but its not very good at dispersing the nukes in the most efficient radius away from eachother within the area command, so i unfortunately end up having to spend some extra time working an effective area with each nuke.

    Are you guys improving nuking area command? that would be very good and help orbital nuking of planets a lot as well

    Just tried this, it was awesome. Definitely some work left to do still, but I played against an AI with my economy buffed, built 12 nuke launchers, and then unleashed them all. It was like watching the first episode of Battlestar Galactica. Incredible.

    A missile command, maybe?

    The area command makes it rather easy to do.

    Hate area attacking tanks and they cost 180 metal. I know it may be all coming but this stuff needs instructions. How does if work. Does selecting 10 nukes give you an area attack circle that destroys everything or randomly spreads out the 10 nukes over the area attack?

    Would use with better ai if you hAd vision selected 10 nukes, have them area attack and the attack the highest profile targets in that area. If they see a commander they will launch 2 at him etc.

    I don't play big games so much and enjoy nuking myself so possibly not the beat feedback
