Cartoons make good people sometimes. Until they find anime, then they go off in whichever direction the anime they watched. You know I watched YuYu Hakusho? I think it shows. That was a classic anime IMO. Old as DBZ and Sailor Moon.
Lol, I watched that with my brother on Adult Swim way back. All I remember was some macho guy with a creep on his back, spirit gun, and the blue-haired angel chick.
More like blue-haired grim-reaper chick. Watched all of that series again recently. Did you know it is actually more of a chick anime actually? Apparently, it is very popular with chicks that watch anime. Odd, because it is mainly action, with comedy and romance and heroism and stuff, but with a lot of macho dudes in it you wouldn't think that huh? Still, I watched Sailor Moon, that senseless anime, long ago, and I watch Love Hina and Ourian High School Host Club, so I think that is much manlier. Of course, I also watch Trigun and Cowboy Bebop, some real manly ones, so it doesn't matter either way.
I actually give myself a dose of nostalgia every night by watching at least 1 episode of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987). Which was apparently before many people here were even born (assuming a large portion of people here are below 24 years old). Cant believe that shows that were popular in my time are now older than 20-year-old adults already in college/universities. L. Spiro
