Has Uber really not heard of Unicron?

I caught the livestream late, but this bit made me extremely confused. To paraphrase;

"Question: Will we see planet-eating metal planets like Unicron?"
"Pffft. Sure, I guess, if you like unicorns."

For reference:

I can't imagine that nobody on the team knows about this classic... but on the 1% chance I'm wrong, here it is. I don't know when we'll be seeing the dreaded super-weapons on Metal Planets, but something like this would be an interesting side-option to whatever the inevitable Death Star laser is.

Man that was Awesome! Thanks for sharing that. It came out the year I was born hahaha. That thing had a reclamation beam (something I already suggested for the metal planet weapon) so I am on board 110%

Can we have a superweapon patterned after 80s cartoons for girls? Perhaps one inspired by Jem and the Holograms that shatters a planet into bits with neon pink interplanetary sound waves.

I think that 1 in 100 chance of metal planet laser being rainbow-colored would be cool. About 20% cooler than the regular one.

I would be totally fine with this. On the other hand, what about lasers being team-colored, so that you know who's delivering your utter destruction? Pink is a selectable color... it's a win-win!

I think team-coloured lasers would work for another game, but if you went that route in PA you'd lose TA's colour coded lasers that give a sense of internal logic to the weapons. I just have a thing for that.

And it wouldn't be Jem if it wasn't neon pink
