Just got it and can't seem to get past this issue. I tried updating drivers and direct x but nothing has changed. can someone please help?
Im not sure where you are getting your drivers but they are way out of date (2009). You need to get drivers from AMD's site. I have the same laptop as you and I prefer to use the 13.11 beta drivers. Note that that link is directly to the drivers for a Radeon 5870m on windows 7 64bit. Hope this helps, Tyler Seacrest
Your display drivers are still listed as being from 2009. Did you try to get them directly from ATI? Mike
