Harvesting Planetary Energy

Do you think there should be "mega harvesters" or similar buildings that could harness the power of planetary rotation or the planet's core? Just an idea

I thought that's what Gas Planets were.

I don't think that harvesting kinetic energy is possible, and we already have geothermal plants.

You might be able to build some sort of giant eddy current brake that hooks in to the spinning molten iron core of an Earth-like planet.

Doesn't the planetary spin cause hurracanes?

So would we not just build wind farms then?

It's a necessary requirement, but it doesn't cause them.
