I consider myself a well-rounded player. Good, but nowhere near great. This in mind I have a few questions that I would like answered so I can be just one step closer to being "great". On my assassin I run gold rate, silver armor, and bronze health regen. Does the gold rate of fire make enough of a signfigant difference to justify my silver armor? I do notice that I can take down a turret with my dagger in one bomb, as opposed to having to attack it twice or wait for passive 3. But in the end is it worth it? I run pretty much the same build on tank, save for skill recovery in place of health recovery. It's widely accepted--save passive 2 and 3 for "Clutch Passive"s. But a silver armor tank on passive one is vulnerable to assassin back grapples and sniper headshots. Should I switch to gold armor for my tank? Or should I simply keep clutch passive even more situational than it is normally? Last but not least, I find myself the most lacking with Gunner, Assault, and Sniper. Notice a common trend here? You have to aim with these classes! I am finding myself severely lacking in that department, even moreso when trying to claw. Practice makes professional they say but no matter how much I do practice I don't seem to notice much of a difference. Now I realize that it's not their money I'm spending, and that I don't have to be superduperpro with everything I play. But I still don't wanna drag too many games down with me. Does anyone have any useful tips and tricks I can use so I can manage to actually kill what I'm shooting at?

I've played with gold rate but really it isn't as deadly as gold armor. But on PC version, where there are tons of more bots and you're weaker(ish) against turrets, gold RoF can be made effective. Try Gold Armor Silver RoF and Bronze Skill. Honestly, I don't find bronze health regen all that useful.
I don't know how qualified I am to give advice since I'm still on 0th prestige, but I guess I'm pretty average. I play tank 75% of the time, and my Endorsments are RoF, Armor, SkillRegen. I usually upgrade to either Charge 2 or Nade 2, and save the 150 for a clutch passive. I only upgrade to another skill if I have over 300 bucks, so I have enough for a cp. If a couple minutes pass and I've acquired a decent amount of money and haven't used a cp yet, I'll go ahead and upgrade my passive just to have the extra health. But really, its all situational. If there are a few too many assassins on the other team, I might just skip my passive and go straight for Charge 3. It really depends on what your enemy does. As for gunner, I only really play him on LazeRazor, and maybe Steel Peel. The biggest piece of advice I can give for him, on LazeRazor, is to stay on top of the glass and walls. There isn't really any reason for you to be on the first or second ground levels. No, you don't need to be able to claw to do this - I don't, and I find it to be a really good strategy.
I used to run this on my Assassin, but gold Armor is MUCH better than than gold RoF. I can still smoke bomb and dagger slash turrets, although I will take a few hits. In the end, you'll find your survivability goes up significantly while your ability to kill bots and turrets remains almost unchanged. For Tank, what you have right now is fine. It allows for excessive use of the Rail gun, and increased effectiveness of the Jet gun. I don't typically rely on clutch passives because, quite frankly, I can never pull them off. I always get passive 2; passive 3 is rather situational and the only one I save for clutch use. I used to have this problem, but then I realized it was because I was playing on such a high sensitivity level. Try setting yours on 2 or 3, unless it's already there of course. Otherwise, try some unorthodox builds. For my Assault, I rarely use the assault rifle. I run Gold skill regen, silver armor, and bronze accuracy. Why? Because I have the same aiming problem as you do. This allows me to spam bomb and charge, and the accuracy lets me use my non RoF rifle a bit better. That all said, there still is no real substitute for practice. Keep trying and see what works for you though.
Gold armor > Gold ROF You can still kill bots just as fast, if you need to, with Silver ROF because lunge+1 slash still kills almost any bot wave short of ridiculousness. However, you're now more able to take out what bots are there and have a stronger chance of surviving lane-guarding heavies' attempts on your life. With gold armor, in almost all situations, you can lunge, do one quick slash, smoke bomb up to safety, and if you have bronze health regen, you only need to avoid damage for a split second after you land before your health is back to full for the next wave.
My assassin build is different from most others. It's Gold Armor, Silver Health Regen and Bronze RoF. I usually find it to work quite well. You don't really need silver RoF, bronze works fine for killing bots. As for turret killing, you can just smoke bomb it and slice it with the dagger, then back off and shuriken it to death.
* I'm with Lief on Assassin. Gold armor is very much desired, because you need to survive dangerous encounters. You don't need health recovery, because you are mobile enough to get to wherever you need to lay low. * Your Tank sounds fine, but I'm definitely not a good one. I basically just use it to mess around. * Gunner is a very free class. You can run a variety of builds and still be a threat. I always run gold Armor. I used to also run silver Rate of Fire and bronze Clip Size, basically to favor the mortar launcher on turrets. I find that running silver Accuracy and bronze Rate of Fire helps me bring down other players better, though. It's rather amazing, really. A lot of my bullets must have been going to the extreme edges before, because this accuracy is just magically doing more damage. The only downside is it makes me feel like I can be a sniping Gunner, when I really don't get to do much damage at long distance. * My Sniper is identical to what my Gunner used to be: Armor, Rate, Clip. It's not a typical Sniper, but I need to be able to survive other Snipers and Assaults. The clip size is there just for the SMG in those emergency situations. Accuracy doesn't do me much good for those, considering the SMG is rather weak and I'm gonna be moving all over the place. * I can't say anything on Assault.
For your tank problem you just need to get it into your muscle memory to jump constantly when not using your rail gun (or also with the railgun if you can still aim), and also the clutch passive is VERY situational. When deciding whether or not to use it think about if you have streaks or a high juice amount. Along with the clutch is that if the other team is pressing hard or has a good assassian you might want to buy into your first passive near the beggining, the extra health recovery helps a lot and the extra health helps a lot as well. The 2nd passive should be used souly for clutch however.
