is it just me or is there an issue getting the galactic war map to scroll. I tried to play an uber sized game but can only jump a few systems as the rest of the map is off the screen and i cant scroll over to select them. is there a way around this issue if anyone else has had this problem and resolved it?
One of the mouse buttons was to center the view on a planet. You scroll around in the neighbourhood of said planet. I think it was either right or middle mouse button.
You can drag the galactic map around with the left mouse button as well as the middle mouse button, I think. Also zooming out helps.
it might be an issue im having, my middle mouse button isn't functioning in game.... I cant scroll planets either unless i use keyboard as middle click isn't responding in game.
it's almost like middle button has become unbound in my game and i can't find anywhere to set mouse binding's yet (i haven't gone searching through game files yet to find the bindings that's my next venture)
Well, that's annoying. There is no way to set the mouse buttons in the PA settings yet, but yeah, you might be able to find something in the game files. Good luck with your hunt. I think you missed the text in my previous post though, where I said that you can also left-click and drag to navigate the Galactic War map.
Left click and drag was failing me too.. Seems to be resolved with the new PTE build posted today both middle and left click scroll the GW map now
I find my GW map is scrolling slowly. It seems to be lagging almost? Which I never had in the previous builds. Although, I would much rather have lag there than in game which I now DO NOT HAVE
