Gunner with no Accuracy

I'm disappointed. On first glance I thought this thread was gonna be about Deadeye.

not bad, it works fine in pubs, but a clawing gunner can generally get away with just about anything in a pub.

A lil off-topic, but not by much.

I dont play gunner, but ive been on the recieving end of that minigun plenty. It seems like accuracy builds kill really fast. I assume it has something to do with the way damage stacks for consecutive hits.

I have problems finishing pros when I play gunner. I keep them in my reticle, but it just seems like the rounds stop landing. Maybe its lag, maybe I need to lead them? Might try the health/recovery build cuz his health regen is just awful.

I dunno. Ive been dabbling with gunner cuz I never really tried him out.

if you are new to gunner, but not new to mnc, i recommend RoF, armor, clipsize. get close with this build, and it will do a ton of damage.

the bullet drop-off is huge with the minigun, and at the right range, an assault will actually out-damage you in a 1v1 if he is zoomed in.

you probably feel the accuracy builds because as a support, you are getting hit wilth pretty much 100% of the bullets he fires.

high accuracy builds work wonders on light classes, but higher dps builds work much better against heavies, and only slightly less than acc builds on lights.

just remember when and where to back out, seeing as your health recovery time/delay sucks.

Yeah, I find myself using the mortar a lot. Sometimes just to soften targets as I approach. It works great on steel peel. Guys like pyre, chaos, prolly u, seem to kill super fast with the miniguns. As soon as im hit, im dead. I, on the other hand, have to plan my attacks so I have ample time on target. Im prolly just too far away.

I know it's an odd build and Gunner without RoF really hurts but he did pretty well with it.

Tom teached me how to play Gunner on a 1v1 private match. He wanted 5 melee kills in exchange and he did lol.
