Gunner Grapple Use Found

I found a use for gunner grapple!
Nothing seems to set off the reckless revenge driven assassins more than grappling them to death. and EVERYONE knows a revenging assassin almost guarantees ~10 kills before the match is over. I made 13 grapple kills yesterday, and 9 of them were in the same match, most of those on the same assassin.
So there you go. when people ask: "why, uber? why a gunner grapple?" uber can now reply: "because it guarantees 10 kills in one match!"

Couldn't you have just upgraded slam and gotten a more hilarious effect?

Slam is just so...obvious against assassins. But getting grappled by a gunner? THAT'S gotta hurt one's pride.

Well, it doesn't hurt that much if they do it right after a face grapple. Any other time, yeah...

im not obsessed, its just that you took out of context quotes and used them as your sig, and so did i. avatar is just a truth, seeing as you dont try for objectives. its like being really good at driving the wrong way in forza.

but yeah, i had a lot of fun with gunner grapples, and am going to try to max out the grapple kill protag.

When I play Gunner this is pretty much all I do. I don't really enjoy holding down right trigger and spraying. Getting ringouts is especially fun

I don't think gunner grapple sends people flying though...

It does at level 3, that's probably why you didn't know haha.... Hardly anyone ups his grapple to lvl3

Didn't you know? When you play to have fun, you automatically have a 50.1 K/D ratio. The .1 being your actual K/D ratio.

Mortar Launcher Grapple looks 10000000 times cooler and is free.

Lets see... I played with you like.. 5-6 times. Either mega-raped or mega-carried you every time, but because you are friends with kids that called me a cheater for a week, you obsess over me enough to do the random *** sig and edit my avatar to "i'm not better than anyone" when I'm obviously MUUUUUUCH better than you and your friends. It's straight LuLz.

And my quotes are straight up what people said about me without the "I know you're a cheater" or "because he's a jerk I won't say what I really think about him, he's a god" or Lief's "in a 4v1

for reference, i only ever played with you twice. once i was on your team, i went 0-0-0 because i was trying to figure your endorsements, and the other time i played against you, around 0-10. again, trying to figure your endorsements. i dont like you, therefore i dont play with you.

does the mortar grapple count for grapple kills?

and does anyone know if lv 3 grapple does more damage than lv 2?

A similar thing happened to me with an Assassin wanting revenge, 4 gunner grapple kills in 1 minute on the same Assassin, I laughed as I taunted after every kill. In a few hours of gameplay I got 20 ish gunner grapple kills, all assassins and snipers.
