Greatly Reduced Frame Rate

Hey guys,

I realize that performance has not been completely optimized, however as the game progresses and more units are present on the battlefield I experience severe frame rate drops. My computer has rather substantial hardware and I should be fine. Could anyone provide an explanation for what may be happening? Thank you very much for any help.

Here's a spec chart if it helps! : )

Athlon II 630 Quad Core CPU
GTX 660 ti 2GB GPU (all drivers are updated)
12GB RAM

You should do a search before posting in accordance with forum rules.

This gets brought up frequently, and you've pretty much answered your own question.

There are indeed many optimizations still to be done to PA. Everyone experiences lag.

In the meantime, lower your graphics settings, play smaller fights, and play on smaller systems with smaller planets.

Each and every update comes with performance optimizations, so hang in there.

Remember, the game is in beta.

Hint number one, turn graphics down.

Hint number two get latest driver (beta included) using Nvidia experience.
