Grappling the jackbot.

As I've played assassin Ive found need to grapple the Jackbot in order to stall it so our team could get a defense going or to get some case as once its down to about 50% its just free cash if an assault or gunner is not following behind it.

But I have noticed snipers and assaults using their grapples to slow or damage the jackbot.

My question is how much damage do the other classes grapples do or how much time do they take up?

afaik only assassin ans sniper can grapple the jackbot

Only sniper and assassin can grapple the jackbot.

ALSO Interesting factoid:

Repeated headshots or attacking the jackbot with the sword from behind will actually do more damage in less time than it takes for the grapple animation to finish.

Grappling the jackbot is actually SLOWER than simply attacking it.

grappling has the advantage of grapple damage reduction as well as the jackbot being unable to slam you

9 times out of 10 you are better off slashing as you get more juice

Only grapple the jackbot if it's about to destroy one of your turrets.

If you've got spare time, just keep slashing at his ***

If it's threatening your base, go for the grapple, but you better believe I'll kill you for it

Vortex basically has it - only grapple the jackbot if you need to stop the jackbot from attacking.

The only classes that can successfully grapple the jackbot are the sin and sniper. Don't know how kicking it in the head with that tiny frame is damaging it that much but you gotta admire the snipers dexterity.

Protip: Sniper's can double grapple a Jackbot. SMG Grapple and his Red Active Skill Grapple.

Still faster/safer to simply headshot the jackbot repeatedly

Product Grenade also stops it moving.

Yeah for like 2 seconds tops, does decent damage to it though because of the other nades that come off it.
