I was playing 1 player vs AI, I got the notification that enemy units had been detected, when I clicked on the banner (which I was hoping would scroll me to the location) the terrain and unit graphics disappeared, although the UI for building and navigation remained. I tried to use the system navigator at in the top right to manually jump to one of the moons or to the system view but, alas, it all remained a dark blue color save the UI.
