This map pack includes 10 existing 1vs1 maps modified for 2v2 unshared. Some of these maps have been slightly modified to have more metal in the spawn area and/or to have a clearer metal split between the 2 players (nobody wants to argue with their teammate early game to see who gets what in terms of metal spots). I love these maps and wanted to be able to play them as a team but shared games aren't everyone's cup of tea. The maps included are: - ToIsengard by @andreasgg - The Reef by @Alpha2546 - T- Crevage by @Alpha2546 - Closair by @superouman - FrozenOreoYoughurt by @andreasgg - GSystem by @andreasgg - Hells Pass by @w33dkingca - Lugaan by @wpmarshall - OvercookedPizza by @andreasgg - Tundra by @andreasgg This map pack also includes 2 existing FFA maps or shared maps modified for big 4v4 games. - Screwball by @w33dkingca - TheWall by @andreasgg - Wadiya without craters (for those who complain about not being to build in craters) by @andreasgg Also included are 5 new maps. - Bosworth Field: 4v4 unshared map. North vs South battle over 4 lanes (1 per player). Not a lot of metal around the equator to avoid the snowball effect. - Cannae: 4v4 unshared map. North vs South battle over 4 lanes (1 per player). 2 big clusters of metal around the equator. Team work is crucial to claim these metal fields. - Castillon: 4v4 unshared map. Many metal clusters that 1, 2 or even 3 players from each team can fight for. - Hastings: 3v3 unshared map. North vs South. 3 lanes for 3 one versus one but with many ways to go between lanes for good teamwork. - Lune: 3v3 unshared map. Symmetrical metal like TheClassyBarren but with more metal and less clusters like Wadiya.
Added 2 maps: - Homie's Blur's map: originally by @w33dkingca , modified for 5v5. - Kuppa by @w33dkingca with a 600 radius.
Added 2 versions of the same 16 players map, played as either 4v4v4v4 or 8v8: one with a 700 radius, the other is 800.
Added 2 new maps: - Prof X4 modified for 4v4 NS - Stamford bridge: 1/3 water 2/3 land map with 2 ponds and 2 big bridges between the teams.
Adding a new map called "Lord_OF_Symmetry", it's an 8v8 map that should be pretty fun. "Lane" type of map but without too many CSGs between lanes so players will be able to go from lane to lane to help each others.
New 16 players map called "Battlestar", similar to "Macro Aggressions" but less metal near the landing zone and more expansions available. Can be played as a 4v4v4v4 or 8v8 - 4v4 is also possible (teams spawn on opposite side of the planet).
I just felt I appreciated these enough to say it in a post. Simple yet effective maps. Really makes me glad we're not restricted to the beta days of randomly generated maps (they're good for GW or com-stomps).
Added a new 4v4 map called "Salar de Uyuni", think Wadiya but balanced and with spawns in a checkerboard pattern (going east west, players of team 1 spawn: north, south, north, south - the opposite hemisphere for the opposing team).
New map called "Ayutthaya". 3v3 unshared, symmetrical north vs south map where each player get a different type of spawn. Player 1 (of each teams) has a mostly land 'lane' with access to a big lake (shared with Player 3). Player 2 has land 'lane' with a big enough pond to build T2 naval factories. Player 3 has a mostly water 'lane' with a big lake but also some metal on land.
New 3v3 map called "Teotihuacan" added. Some pathing issues when moving large armies towards the top of the pyramid but should still be fun.
New 4v4 (also set up for 2v2) map called "Theia", I tried to bring some 1v1 gameplay elements to this map (it's not a classic 4 lanes map) that should make games on it very fun.
New 5v5 map called "Ypres": One team in the screenshot, the other team is on the other side of the planet (same CSGs and metal points):
